Our associa on went through some changes last year with moving the finals from October to June and with a change of facility to Rapid City, SD. This was a great change for the associa on. Over the three-day finals, we had over 1800 entrants which is the most that I can remember. With this change I think this associa on will keep on growing because of our great members, producers, and sponsors. I would like to thank our members for vo ng this past year. We had over 80% of our members vote, which is the most we've ever had. Your voices have been heard. The members voted for more added money and less awards at the Finals, this is happening. The awards will go down to 4th place in the Open, 3rd place in the Senior, and 2nd place in the Youth. We will be giving out buckles, jackets, vet kits and scooters. Along with saddles to the Open and Seniors. We are s ll working on the amount of added money; we should know what that amount will be within the next month. Members also voted to move the Youth races back to Friday. The youth will have two races on Friday as the seniors do. The age limit for the youth has also changed to 18 and under. Age limits are the age you are at the me of the finals. I would like to thank each of our producers for all of the hard work that they do for this associa on. There were producers sanc oning events up to the finals last year so members could qualify. You are the backbone of our associa on. We are always looking for sponsors. There are different levels of sponsorship. If you or someone you know is looking to sponsor an associa on, please contact one of the directors. We are grateful for the sponsors that we have every year. Without you, we could not have the type of finals that we have each year. Thank you! The Finals will be June 18-20, 2021. Members need to have current membership and four qualified runs to qualify for the finals. If you are not sure if your membership is current, please contact the associa on. All races that were sanc oned a er the finals last year, were qualifiers for 2021 finals. There are a lot of races being sanc oned, so get your membership and get qualified. There are some double qualifiers s ll out there too. If it is a double qualifier, one run counts as two runs. If it is a double qualifier it will be on the poster for that race. We keep ge ng new producers so it should be easier for you as members to find some runs closer to home. Just a heads up, there are some races that are not NWBRA sanc oned races that have been in the past. So please check to see if they are if you are going to use them to get qualified. Your directors have been working hard again for you this year. Hope to see all of your smiley faces at the finals.
