4 The WRANGLER, Annual Barrel Racing Edition • March 5-19, 2021 Written by Hope Raley Adon Ranch Productions of Rozet, Wyoming is producing some of the hottest events in the western industry in north-eastern Wyoming and surrounding areas. Owned and operated by Lexi Hamm and her fiancé Paden Bauder, ARP began in 2019 when PRO Jackpots, Paula O'Connell, approached the young couple to take over the winter series dates in Gillette, Wyoming at the Cam-Plex. Seeing a great opportunity at their fingertips, Hamm and Bauder jumped at the offer and haven't looked back since! Today, along with the winter series, ARP has added a summer series running throughout the summer months in East Pavilion at the Cam- Plex. They have also teamed up with PRO Jackpots to produce a 2-day event in November with added money and awards, called the Last Out Futurity and 4D. New for 2021 is the ARP Spring Fling which was previously the TRP Money Run. Held every year in March, Thar Ranch Productions used to produce the event until Stacey Thar came to ARP asking if they would be interested in taking over. Another exciting new venture for ARP in 2021 is jumping on board with Shyann Russell in producing the Twisted Sisters Money Run held in June. "Both Paden and I are feeling incredibly blessed to have been given these opportunities- thanks to great friends and a great crew, I Producer Spotlight Adon Ranch Production Adon Ranch Production cannot even begin to thank them all enough," Hamm explained. Hamm and Bauder are heavily involved in the western and ag industry, and both believe that is why they became interested in roping and barrel racing in the first place. "My family has been in the ranching industry in Wyoming since the late 1800's," explained Hamm. "In addition, my family has been raising performance horses since 1980, and I have been blessed to get to run a lot of home raised horses- which has been really cool and fulfilling for my entire family." Both Hamm and Bauder are 5th generation ranchers in Campbell County, so being able to produce events that bring in revenue to a community that runs dear to their heart is rewarding. "We love producing events and getting to bring people together to do something that they enjoy." Hamm also explained that the amount of support and appreciation that ARP has received since putting on events has been nothing short of amazing. "We cannot thank our contestants enough for helping us break into this industry," Hamm said. Events like the ones ARP produce are not possible without their sponsors and the crew behind the scenes. "We have some of the best sponsors that have jumped on board with us since we started, and we are so thankful. There is a lot of behind the scenes work that happens that most people don't think of before producing an event, and we have the absolute best crew helping us that we could ever ask for. We are really looking forward to what we have in store for our contestants in 2021!" For more information on ARP and their events visit www.adonranchproduc ons.com.
