She was born, raised and educated in Casper, Wyoming. Jean was one of five children born to the pioneer family of Ed and Mary McGraugh on August 7, 1923. She married her life me love, Jack and they spent 70 years together. From this union two children were born, Jamis and Jana. She was a member of the First Chris an Church of Casper, Wyoming. Jean re red from Kansas Nebraska Gas Company and later re red from Paradise Valley Elementary School. A er re ring she worked part- me for long me friends, the Taubert family. Jean wore a hat of many colors throughout her life me. Wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, friend, neighbor, mentor and teacher. She is survived by the family she cherished and a life me of friends. Son, Jamis and his wife, Judy and their two sons and families, Jus n, Jodene, Jayden, and Jerren. Jhe , Jenny, Kellan, Carson, and Kress, all on the family ranch. Daughter, Jana Holman, and her husband Ted and their family. Skye, Rusty and Randus Rae Mar n, all from Van Tassell, Wyoming, and Hanes, Mary Alice, Gracie Lou and Italy Jo Holman of Carlin, Nevada. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack, parents, siblings, and great-grandson Howdy A Celebration of Life A Celebration of Life Jean Johnson August 7, 1923 - April 8, 2021 Jackson Holman. "Gram" as she was known in the rodeo family was the #1 fan, and followed her grandchildren and great- grandchildren throughout junior rodeo, junior high rodeo, high school rodeo, and into professional rodeo. She was surrounded by pictures and loved to share them. Laughter came easy and she always had a hug, an encouraging word or a story to tell. She was an inspira on and will be greatly missed. The cremains will be placed on the family ranch at a later date. Memorials may be given to Casper College Rodeo Team Scholarship Fund. Jean's Celebra on of Life will be held on Wednesday, May 12th at 1:00 p.m. at the Clarion Inn at Pla e River Hotel in Casper, Wyoming. Thank you for sharing your life with Gram…she loved each of you.
