"Finally making it to my first NFR is truly an unexplainable feeling," explained Piva. "I am going to take it one bull at a me and enjoy every minute of it!" Piva grew up in a rodeo-loving family and has had his families support since day one. Piva rode his first calf at a junior rodeo in his hometown of Challis, Idaho and he has had the 'itch ever since! Piva went to over 100 rodeos on his trek to his first NFR qualifica on this year and just as good as it started, it ended. "My 2021 season was great. I got a big jump in the standings earlier in the year by ge ng second in San An no and second in Odessa. I even had a strong finish in September, which hasn't been the case the past two years." Going into the NFR, Piva hopes to ride as many bulls as he can to place high in the average. He would like to extend a big thank you to his sponsors Silver Bit Ranch (Sco Whitworth), YES Idaho Utah Wyoming, Cody's Cowboy Hats, and Cinch. Piva would also like to thank his family and friends for all their love and support along the way.
