A Cowgirl
Schedule
By Lincoln Rogers, 2013
There are busy schedules, and
then there is Gabrielle Koltiska's
schedule. Gabby, as she also
likes to be called, is a 16-yearold diminutive dynamo from
Sheridan, Wyoming who loves
to be involved in western and
community activities. Whether
it is ranch, horse, livestock,
agriculture, rodeo or even dance
related, she squeezes it into a
calendar that rivals a certain
jolly old elf's in December.
If there are any questions
regarding quantity over quality,
Koltiska's participation is more

FFA, she has been a leader and
officer (2nd Vice President) of her
chapter for the last two years,
including Parliamentarian this
year. In 4-H, she successfully
shows horses, steers, heifers,

sewing, modeling, selling and
buymanship. In those selling and
buymanship projects, Koltiska
has placed in the top three every
time she's competed at the state
fair in Douglas, WY.
If that
wasn't enough, she is a member
of the National Jr. Honor Society,
successfully competes in High
School rodeo and was selected to
be Sheridan WYO Rodeo Princess
for 2013.
When asked about her jampacked schedule, the personable
cowgirl revealed her enthusiasm
for it.
"It's
really
crazy,"
she
acknowledged, before talking
about why she likes being on the
go. "I've found that keeping busy
and doing all the things I do keeps
