First year members and permit holders are on a Cash only basis. Permit holders are not eligible for Year-End, All-Around, or Rookie Awards. Money won does not begin to accumulate until your membership is received by the secretary. You do not have to be a permit holder prior to becoming a card holder. Permit holders are eligible for the ImPRA finals in the Novice/#10 events if entered twice throughout the season. Junior Events are for Age 14 and under as of September 1, 2021. By signing this form, I certify that I will abide by all rules and regulations of the ImPRA, and I hereby release and hold harmless the ImPRA, all members, stock contractors, rodeo committees, sponsors, employees of the same, and any or all persons in anyway connected with all ImPRA approved rodeos, from losses, damages, or injury to me or my equipment resulting from participation in any or all events. I certify that I am over eighteen years of age. If the above applicant is under 18 years of age, this release must be signed by both parents and notarized. Events I may enter: ImPRA News The 2022 ImPRA Judges and Timers School will be held March 4-5, 2022. Judges will begin Friday night from 5:00 to 9:00 PM and Saturday from 8:30 AM un l finished. Dinner will be provided on Friday night. Timers school will be held Saturday, March 5th star ng at 8:30 AM. We will break for lunch on Saturday. RULE PROPOSALS – Members may present rule proposals for the coming season by emailing rodeoimpra@ gmail.com or by contac ng your director. Proposals will be reviewed by the Board of Directors and then published in The Wrangler a minimum of twice, followed by a vote by the general membership. We will be announcing those dates and loca ons as they are confirmed but we are hopeful for the upcoming year! We are always interested in talking to commi ees to bring on new rodeos each year. Please contact any Director for more informa on or email the ImPRA Secretary to request a commi ee packet to see what becoming an ImPRA sanc oned rodeo can do for your rodeo. Now is a great me to purchase your ImPRA membership for the 2022 season. You must be a member in good standing to qualify to compete at the 2022 ImPRA Finals. Purchase your membership prior to April 1, 2022 at the discounted rate of $85. Memberships must be purchased prior to entry for dollars won at that rodeo to count for the season. Purchase your membership early to ensure all of your earnings will count towards the finals. HIGH SCHOOL RODEO MEMBER PROMOTION – We are extending a discount on memberships to current high school and junior high rodeo members. Purchase your membership prior to the first rodeo of the season for $75 for an open contes ng membership, $35 for a Novice permit and $15 for a Junior Membership. Please mail in the form with your payment and include your current HS/JH Rodeo membership number. Contestants under 18 will need to have a parent signature and the form notorized. This form can also be printed on the website. Becoming a member of an associa on ensures that a governing body is looking out for the welfare and well-being of the members, the par cipants, and the contractors involved in producing the sport that we love.
