Letter from the Editor
As August rolls around, it seems as if summer
is coming to a close all too fast. Here in
Cheyenne, Cheyenne Frontier Days seems to
serve as the marker for the beginning of the
end of summer. We hope all of our readers-
contestants or not, have had a successful
and productive summer. We hope Cowboy
Christmas has not only filled your pockets,
but provided you with opportunities to make
memories with and learn from those around
you.
Here at The WRANGLER, I've had the honor
of learning from our managing editor Brenna
Ramsden. For me, this summer has been full
of learning curves, challenging projects, and
opportunities to grow beyond belief in my
roles within this publication. From switching
to a glossy cover, redoing our website, and
revitalizing our social media presence, I hope
all of our readers can see just how much work
my team and I have been putting into The
WRANGLER.
Whether its running the paper, riding colts,
producing rodeos & ropings, competing in
rodeos myself, being a member of the UW
rodeo team, or going to school full time, I can't
help but reflect on all of the amazing people in
my life that help me manage all of these irons I
have in the fire. Iron sharpens iron, and I'm so
thankful to have some of the sharpest people
present in my life including: Brenna our editor,
my parents Dave & Cindy DeLancey, and my
brother Beau. Take time to appreciate the
people in your life who inspire you and push
you to be your best, you never know when
things can change forever.
Wishing you the best,
Raegen DeLancey
