Letter from the Assistant Editor
Howdy! I am stoked to be writing my first letter in The
WRANGLER as the Assistant Editor!
The western lifestyle has always been a way of life for me.
I was raised on a ranch in south Texas. During the beginning
years of my life, my Dad was a cutting horse trainer. I've
always had the deepest love for a good horse, but being
involved in the cutting industry also allowed me to find my
passion for the cattle industry.
Over time, we were relocated to the outskirts of Fort
Worth. I was on Cloud Nine about getting to be in what
some consider, the heart of the equine industry. With most
of these equine disciplines involving cattle of some sort, I
had the best of both worlds!
I knew that I wanted to have a career of some sort in
the western industry, but didn't have my finger on which
direction I would go. I went to Texas A&M to pursue a
degree in Animal Science. During my time there, I had built a
Registered Brahman herd. I found myself constantly looking
for ways that I could perfect the marketing of my own cattle
and horses. I started doing some marketing work for people
within the industry as a "side-gig." After building up a small
clientele, I had a "light bulb," moment. That moment is when
La Reina Ranch Designs came to life. Over time, I have grown
it to a full scale marketing company that serves the western
industry and beyond.
It is an honor to be able to collaborate with The WRANGLER.
I am looking forward to diving in head first into 2023 with
The WRANGLER Team and DeLancey Family! The future
for The WRANGLER is BRIGHT, and I am so excited to be
along for the ride!
