Letter from the Publisher
The end of the year is often a time for reflection and new goal setting. We are so grateful
for all the support of The WRANGLER's new direction for 2023. Being a Futurity Focused
publication has given us a chance to focus on an aspect of the horse industry that is booming
and growing every day! The lane of travel in the stallion business has widened, the futurity
events are seeing a record number of entries, and the event producers are working hard to
ensure quality events with big payouts.
What I am trying to say is that things are growing, changing and here at The WRANGLER
we are working on growing and changing too! Change is the one thing that we can all count
on. Our daughter, Raegen DeLancey took over as editor in 2023. We are incredibly proud of
the job she has done with building out each issue this year. We continue to set up our "winter
headquarters" in Wickenburg, AZ and our subscription base continues to grow rapidly.
We are working on some big changes for The WRANGLER in 2024, we will be working
on enhancing our digital presence and expanding our digital footprint. We are working on
developing a The WRANGLER app so you can stay current on all the stories and never miss
a minute on the fast changes in the equine world. We also continue to work on "automating"
your subscription so you can make account changes 24/7/365. Watch for our upcoming stories
with some of the industries best riders, trainers and breeders.
Wishing you the very best for 2024. Remember, January 1, 2024 is like riding in a freshly
groomed arena on the "top of the ground". Make every day your "best run".
Wi sincere gratitude and appreciati,
Cindy DeLancey
The only thing that stays the same is change!
