Our 2023 season ended with one big surprise! Tennlee Hatfield and Latigo Garnhart spent their last year of being a Peewee by giving it their all and ending the season in a way no one expected. Once the final rodeo was over and all the points were calculated, the directors had to have a spe- cial meeting to discuss results that had not happened before. With 260 points to each kid, we had a tie for the All-Around. Our association has been able to give away saddles to each division all-around. Since there has never been a tie for all-around the directors met, they all agreed that both kids had amazing seasons and they both deserved a custom all-around saddle. Tennlee said "it's just so cool we could both win a saddle for the first time together!" They may have had to rock, paper, scissors at the awards ceremony for the one certificate we had printed at the time, but in the end both ended up with a new saddle thanks to our many sponsors that allowed this to happen." - Megan Rice
