J
uly has arrived faster than I thought it would! Spring cattle work is winding down for the ranchers; the
breeding season is generally wrapping up, with a few still trying to get their mares to settle. We are in the
thick of the summer rodeo run, and we couldn't be more excited about the upcoming events.
June was a month filled with dedication and hard work for The WRANGLER team. We were the official publication
for the CNFR in Casper, Wyoming, with 1-2 team members present at almost every slack and performance. The
Wrangler also had the honor of designing the program for the CNFR, which is a testament to our commitment to
the rodeo community. We're thrilled to continue our partnership with the CNFR for the 2025 finals, a testament
to our ongoing dedication to the rodeo community.
The July issue is a celebration of Rising Stars. We're shining a spotlight on the young talent rising through
the ranks, showcasing their achievements and how they're navigating the challenges and opportunities of our
industry. This issue is a tribute to their dedication and potential, and we hope it will inspire others to step up, take
on challenging tasks, and strive for greatness. Our industry's future depends on the next generation, and we're
excited to see them continue to grow and succeed.
One unique and valuable article you will see is about college rodeo recruitment. This is something we have not
really seen before. Heidi Foy of Bullfrog Recruitment Solutions, a former two-time CNFR qualifier, saw a need and
ran with it. She is a true rising star! Learn more about her platform on page 50.
