There are two types of stem cells, but mesenchymal cells have the best regenerative medicine properties. Stem cells are often using in tendon and ligament injuries. RenoVo is an equine amniotic tissue allograft, with higher concentrations of IRAP, growth factors/cytokines, and is readily available off the shelf. One of the newer modalities, RenoVo is intended to supplement and protect tissues.
