Our association is known for hosting many cow horse and stock horse events in Wyoming year-round. CSSHA SUMMER 2024 SHOWS As of the 9/5 issue of the Wrangler, the Cowboy State Classic AQHA VRH & NRCHA Show would have been held on August 21-25 in Big Piney, WY. More info in the next issue of the Wrangler and on our CSSHA website. The results will be posted at: https://csshaclub.com/results CSSHA EVENTS IN THE PLANNING: CSSHA is working with Central Wyoming College in Riverton, WY to hold its 2024/2025 Winter Jackpot Series again. REVISED: October 5 & 6, 2024 Stockmanship 101/Waddie Drive December 7-8, 2024 Herdwork/Cutting January 4-5, 2025 Sorting (Birthday Party Month) February 1-2, 2025 Ranch Breakaway Mark October 5 on your calendar. CSSHA plans to have its annual BBQ and Annual Meeting at 6:00 pm after the Oct. 5 Stockmanship Practice at CWC in Riverton. Location to be announced. CSSHA will partner with the Thermopolis Sorting Series for 2024-2025. Sortings will be held at the Hot Springs County Fair indoor arena in Thermopolis, WY. 2024 November 9, December 14 2025 January 11, February 8, March 8, April 12 CSSHA will hold cattle practices twice a month again this winter on Sunday afternoons at the Lander Old Timers Rodeo Association (LOTRA) indoor barn in Lander, WY. If you are also a member of LOTRA, there is no cost. CSSHA members (non- LOTRA members) can practice for $30 per person at each practice, with lots of cattle and a Cowtrac flag. LOTRA/CSSHA Sunday 1-4 pm cattle practices: 2024: Nov. 10 & 24, Dec. 15 & 29 2025: Jan. 12 & 26, Feb. 9 & 23, March 9 & 23 CSSHA CLUB MEETING INFO: Monthly Club Meetings are usually held on the first Thursday evening of each month at Scott Ratliff's home in Riverton WY, and a Zoom link is provided. Check our Facebook page for the most up-to-date info. The September Meeting has been scheduled for September 5, 6:30. 2024 Membership: Individual CSSHA club memberships are still $20/year for 2024.
