LAS VEGAS, Nev., — Twombly Performance Horse Sale was held December 13th, 2014 in Las Vegas, NV. Held during the National Finals Rodeo! We would like to thank all of you who attended and bid by phone. The sale was held at Mandalay Bay Resort in the Roper Cowboy Marketplace! Twombly Performance Horse Sale sets new records have the coolest little buckskin gelding on the trails! Congratulations to repeat customers of California! The Baffert family purchased lot 4 for a final bid of $41,000. Bob likes them pretty, no surprise he went for "Smokeshow"! He's a 5 yr old buckskin gelding. As pretty as can be and a finished reiner! He's as cool as they come! One of the gentlest horses offered was lot 9 "Starstruck"! A beautiful 7 yr old red roan gelding! He is an own son of One Time Pepto. Broke and gentle! He is a finished ranch horse and anyone in the family could get along with him! Selling to a super nice couple from Vancouver Canada for $26,000! Selling sight unseen by phone was lot 6 "Whizzle"! Drop dead gorgeous and gentle for the whole family! He had been reined on and enjoyed on the ranch! Final bid was $20,000. Oklahoma bound! Lot 3 "Yankee" sold to repeat customers of California for $17,000! Talk about beautiful and broke! 6 yr old own son of Dun It Gotta Gun! Reining trained and ranch rode. They don't come much cooler then this guy! He went to a great home! "Roper" is a big pretty and super Averages Top 5 $30,200 Top 10 $22,250 Top 20 $16,100 Overall $14,600 We would like to thank Lyle and Sharon Waggoner of Wyoming on purchasing lot 5 "Yeehaw"! When the hammer dropped he was the all time highest selling gelding ever sold at the Twombly Horse Sale for a record setting price of $47,000! He is a drop dead gorgeous 6 yr old finished reiner and fun to ride on the ranch! Lyle & Sharon will gentle 5 yr old buckskin gelding! Finished ranch horse and started out of the box on the head side! He sold sight unseen for a final bid of $16,000! Utah being his new home. Also making Vancouver Canada his new home was lot 2 "Toaster". Super unique 9 yr old dun gelding! Super super gentle and very well broke! A lot of fun to ride and enjoy! He has been to the team sortings and used as a lesson horse! Super sweet guy! It took $15,000 to own this big guy! Lot 1 always has the toughest job of the day! But it wasn't hard for "Gitgit" to find a new home! Absolutely beautiful and a huge athlete! Just a 4 yr old and broke well! Going for $14,000 he is Texas bound! "Moose" is about as big and pretty as they come! Lot 10 is an 8 yr old buckskin gelding! Stands 15.3 hands and is a looker! He sold sight unseen for a bid of $13,500 and heads to Georgia! Also selling by phone was lot 8 "Karmal" big and pretty! Rode and loved by everyone! Just a 5 yr old! He sells for $13,000 and heads east to his new home in New Hampshire! Beautiful and buckskin! Lot 11 is just a 3 yr old mare, own daughter of the legendary Wimpys Little Step! "Wimpsie" is started in the reining pen and rode on the ranch! Amazing young mare with a bright future! Sold for $13,000 and heads to Iowa. Big and a true blue roan he is! Lot 15 "Squash" sold for a final bid of $12,000 and makes his new home in Nebraska! A fun horse to ride on the ranch! He could cover the ground and get the job done! One of the most unique colored horses in the sale was lot 7 "Cupcakes" She is beautiful! By an own son of the great Genuine Doc! Rode on the ranch and trails. She sold for a bid of $11,000 to a Texas buyer! Also finding his new home in Nebraska was lot 16 "Wasp"! Super flashy 6 yr old buckskin gelding! As pretty and shapey as can be! He sold for $11,000! "Kazam" sold at lot 17 for a final bid of $10,000 and heads west for California! He is a beautiful grullo gelding! Just a 5 yr old and super cow bred! Awesome little gelding here! Lot 18 sold for $9,250 to Georgia! Lot 13 sold for $9,000 to Oklahoma! Lot 24 sold for $8,500 to Arizona!
