Jase staudt, Nathrop, Colo ....................137 CASPER, Wyo. — The National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association Alumni (NIRAA) met June 17-18, 2016 for the 25th Annual Reunion in Casper, Wyoming. The reunion takes place annually, during the College National Finals Rodeo (CNFR) in Casper. Paulette Moss represented Jim Moss, an intercollegiate alumni from Riverton, WY attended the reunion. Jim graduated from Central Wyoming College and competed in the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association (NIRA). Jim also served as rodeo coach, at CWC. Jim and Paulette Moss were also recognized as 1991-92 NIRA Alumni (NIRAA) Charter Board of Directors. The reunion honored all the NIRA National Champions, Championship Teams, top finishers, Faculty and Student Presidents for the years ending in "6"--1956, 1966, 1976, 1986, 1996, and NIRA ALUMNI DIRECTORS: Sharon Adams, Phoenix, AZ; Merrill Ellis, San Antonio, TX and Mary Fuller, St. Louis, MO. NIRA alumni hosts 25th Annual Reunion at 2016 CNFR 2006. The mission of the NIRA Alumni is simple: promote college rodeo, preserve the history of college rodeo, and honor the accomplishments of collegiate contestants and alumni. The group raises yearly $8,000 in scholarship funds that are awarded to the NIRA rookies in each of the nine college rodeo events. Scholarships to the All-Around Man and Woman Rookie of the Year and also to the Fourth Place Men's and Women's Teams. Over the years since 1992 we have given over $40,000 in scholarship money, most directly to the student.
